In 2017, Gary Wilson produced this film, "Nature's Resilience - A Year After the Wildfires" for the Smoky Mountain Explorer Series compilation Blu Ray. This was produced for the Great Smoky Mountains Association and is a six minute film documents the effects that the Chimney 2 Wildfire had on the Great Smoky Mountains landscape. Documented from weeks leading up to the fire, to the fire itself, then the effects as the forest rebounded from the ashes is all described within this segment that Gary Wilson shot, edited, and narrated.
