I lived in the Sun Valley, Idaho area from 2001 to 2011. During that time, I explored the Pioneer Mountain Range which was directly east of Hailey, Idaho, where I lived at the time. I climbed numerous peaks in the range, and took many photos over the years. These are a few of the views and photos I took of the range. The Pioneer Mountain range is one of the most majestic ranges in the Rocky Mountains, with high mountain lakes, high mountain rocky peaks, lots of fish, and healthy wildlife populations. It’s quite rugged, and the trails into the range are steep and long. Summits like Hyndman Peak stand over 12,000 feet and is one of the tallest mountains in the State of Idaho. Overall, there’s much to explore in this range, and in the 10 years I was there I did my part to explore many parts of the range.
